2023 ALFRED DUNHILL LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP
- ANNOUNCING COVERAGE ACROSS SHANK

SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 - SHANK, BY MATT HOOPER: 10 years ago SHANK (then St Andrews Golf Magazine) covered its first ever Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which concluded in stunning sunny weather and a thrilling final day which saw David Howell lift the trophy. In the intervening decade the platform has gone on to cover more than 40 golf events in person including multiple women's and senior majors, DP World Tour, Ladies European Tour and Asia Tour events, and the 2019 Solheim Cup. But the annual event which comes to our area is the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and 'The Dunhill' is one of the best weeks of the year, every year.
In recent years @matthooperphotography has travelled to both Kingsbarns and Carnoustie to provide more expansive coverage of the championship, but for the 10th Dunhill which SHANK has covered he will be remaining in St Andrews all week. The purpose of this is to cover as many of the players in the field as possible, including and especially, the celebrity competitors. St Andrews is the birthplace of the platform, and the beating heart of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and being based there for the entire week better enables SHANK to cover the championship comprehensively from a player standpoint.
SHANK Magazine relaunches as an annual print and digital publication in Spring 2024 on Magcloud and other platforms, and will feature the 2023 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship extensively. In addition to this SHANK will have extensive coverage across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, as well as www.shankmedia.co.uk
